Amazon Games will switch to MMO on August 31, 2021. This is what players need for their game equipment to fight monsters in a brave new world. After Amazon Games failed to crack the MOBA genre with the critically acclaimed Crucible, the company rallied and started again. With the company’s upcoming New World game, Amazon Games hopes to break into another popular game genre: MMO.

New World will lead players to Aeturnum, a magical island where players can fight (or fight against) humans, ghosts and zombies, and angry earth elemental factions, and earn New World Coins by doing various tasks . However, all factions must contend with the fallen and almost unstoppable storm forces trying to engulf the old and new worlds. Amazon Games did not release games with little fanfare, but spent a lot of time through extensive Alpha and Beta testing to create a user base. Now New World is in the internal beta phase. Amazon Games is available for pre-order on Steam for $39.99 and will be unlocked on August 31, 2021. If players pre-order the game before August 2nd, they can take part in the closed beta. New World lacks gamepad support it is an MMO. Amazon Games has no news about virtual reality capabilities, which may not be possible considering this type.
