On February 28 The Slayer skill will receive the first significant update it has received following The Nodon Front released last July. It's in the form of the new Slayer monsters that will make the skill more exciting that is the top money maker for a lot of RuneScape players. We knew from the beginning that the update would bring three brand new Abyssal Slayer creatures to RuneScape , but developer Jagex has provided us with some additional details about the most important features of their drop tables.
The biggest product comes from Abyssal Lords that require 115 Slayer to kill. These massive monsters drop a brand new tier 92 melee weapon called The Abyssal Scourge. This is an update to the infamous Abyssal Whip that was first introduced to the original MMORPG almost 17 years ago. If you are able to successfully attack with the Scourge trigger the Abyssal Parasite effect, extending the duration of all melee bleeding abilities.
It's not only the Lords which have unusual drops too. The Abyssal Beasts (105 Slayer) release one of the Jaws of the Abyss Helmet the tier 85 melee power armor helmet. Much like the others Abyssal Slayer creature's drop it grants the different bleeding abilities in RuneScape.
The less powerful Abyssal Savage creatures that require 95 Slayer to kill aren't equipped with any special drops. But, they are able to drop Abyssal Armor Spikes which can be used as consumable accessories to buy OSRS gold upgrade existing Armor spikes or modified Armor Spikes. The drop is available from all three brand new Slayer monsters.
